In 2016, during the building of the new Centenary badge, staff and students from the University of Southampton carried out archaeological surveys of the area around the WW1 camp at Fovant, and on the Iron Age hill fort at the top of Fovant Downs.
In August 2017, they returned to carry out further fieldwork to complete the project. The results should be most enlightening!
