Sutton Mandeville Badges

The Sutton Mandeville Heritage Trust has now fully restored the Royal Warwickshire badge and the 7th (City of London) Battalion of the London Regiment (known as the “Shiny 7th”) badge.

The Map of Australia Trust was set up in 2017 specifically to restore the chalk outline of Australia and Tasmania on the downs near Compton Chamberlayne in Wiltshire. This has now been fully restored by volunteers – for full details click on this link.

Fovant History Interest Group

Members of the Fovant History Group have produced a fascinating website which includes details of the area during World War 1 not available anywhere else. Lots of details about the camps in Fovant including the hospital and the military railway and a list of all the British and Australian regiments known to have stayed in the camps.

Australian Government Department of Veterans’ Affairs

The Fovant Badges Society acknowledges with gratitude the support of the Australian Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA). DVA, via its Overseas Privately Constructed Memorial Restoration Program, provides an annual grant for the preservation of the Australian Imperial Forces badge (now known as the Australian Commonwealth Military Force badge).
