History

History of the badges and the regiments stationed in Fovant during WW1

In the last few year we have learnt a lot more about the badges and their history thanks to our Centenary Education Project. For example, photographs of the Post Office Rifles building their badge in 1916 have come to light, and as far as we know these are the first images of the original badges being built to be discovered. Hopefully there are more out there?
